VOLUNTEERS

Academy of the Freedom in Spirit began its task in 2005, based exclusively on the work and occupation of members and volunteers, who decided to dedicate their time and services selflessly to the development of the organization and the achievement of its goals.

In Academy, we view the concept of volunteering neither as a hobby nor as a circumstantial occupation, not even as a way of reassurance of consciousness, but we consider it as a way of thinking, practicing and living which derives from the inborn tendency of a human being to offer creatively, forming his environment.

For the Academy, every art, knowledge, science or skill is useful since it is exerted creatively and aims at the human being’s development and evolution. The members and volunteers of the Academy grow and develop through every sector of expression and demonstration of the human spirit, such as the arts, culture, philosophy, sciences et.al, depending on their specific tendency. This is achieved either by participating in the current programs and activities of the organization or by the possibility to express new ideas and innovative approaches and practices, as a result of their work, dissertation or even of their life experience, contributing in the best creative way in the development of others as well.

If you want to express your creativity and become a volunteer in our organization, either by offering your services to our current activities and programs or by presenting your ideas, you may visit our offices after telephone contact or you can send an e-mail at the address info@akademy.gr  and we will contact you as soon as possible.
