The Research Department of MentalHygiene takes action on the continuous research and study on issues concerning the functioning of human psychological mechanism. 

On the 27th of November 2016, at the two-day Conference held by the Hellenic Association for Counseling, that took place in IST College, Athens, Greece, the Department's  research team f the announced globally for the first time and presented the fundamentals of Logodynamiki Therapy.

The opening speech was made by Mr. Myron Bolovinos, secretary of the Department while the main speech was made by Mr. John Savvopoulos, Chairman of the Academy and Founder of the new therapeutic approach in a two- hour experiential workshop, developing the way of thinking and the fundamentals on which the new approach is based.

Among others, impression was made by the the reporting of clinical effects on the efficacy of treatment, which consists, on the one hand, of the speed of recovery of the disorders encountered, and on the other hand, of the permanence of psychological stability after the end of the treatment.

It is worth noting that the last case of presenting a new therapeutic approach was made about 60 years ago by Albert Ellis, who introduced then the Rational - Emotive Behavior Theory.
